KnoxProxy Inc. ("KnoxProxy", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. This policy applies to all KnoxProxy services, websites, and communications.
02Data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data -- name, email, company name, billing address, payment method (processed by Stripe/NOWPayments -- we do not store full card numbers)
- Usage data -- bandwidth consumed, request counts, error rates, API keys used, IP addresses of your requests to our gateway
- Technical data -- browser type, device information, and cookies for authentication and analytics
- KYC data -- identity documents submitted for verification, processed and stored by our KYC provider Sumsub
03How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain the Services
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Communicate service updates and support
- Comply with legal obligations, including KYC/AML requirements
- Improve the Services through aggregated, anonymized analytics
04Data sharing
We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe, NOWPayments) to process transactions; KYC provider (Sumsub) for identity verification; infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN) to deliver the Services; law enforcement when required by valid legal process. All processors are bound by data processing agreements.
05Data retention
Account data: retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion. Usage logs: retained for 90 days, then aggregated and anonymized. Billing records: retained for 7 years per tax regulations. KYC documents: retained per regulatory requirements (typically 5 years after account closure).
06Data security
We protect your data with: encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256); access controls and audit logging; SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure; regular penetration testing and vulnerability scanning. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure.
07Your rights
You may:
- Access your personal data via the dashboard or by contacting privacy@knoxproxy.com
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Export your data in machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent for optional processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
08Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We use optional analytics cookies only with your consent. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings or via our cookie consent banner.
09Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. The current version is always available at knoxproxy.com/legal/privacy.
